Description
Our everyday dinner plate, thrown on the wheel in the studio and dipped in Estuary, a soft blue-grey glaze that shows the rings of the wheel and thins to a pale edge at the rim. The foot ring is left as raw clay, so you can feel where the glaze stops. It is wide enough for a full supper and shallow enough to stack neatly, and no two plates fire quite the same, which is why a stack of them looks so calm on an open shelf.
