About us

Built for real progress

A coach-led gym on Foundry Avenue, open since 2016 and run by the people who train here.

Our story

From an empty factory to a full floor

Voltrise started in 2016 in the old tool factory on Foundry Avenue: two coaches, six racks and a borrowed sound system. The idea was simple: every session coached, every member known by name.

Ten years on, the floor is three times the size and the schedule runs from sunrise to late evening, but the idea has not changed.

“Nobody trains alone here. That was the whole plan.”

What we stand for

Three rules on the wall

01

Coaching first

Every class has a coach on the floor, not on a microphone. Form comes before load, always.

02

Progress you can see

Logbooks, quarterly check-ins and honest numbers: you will know what is working and what to change.

03

Everyone belongs

First-timers, returning athletes and seventy-year-old lifters train in the same room, at their own level.

Inside Voltrise

The floor and the people on it

A long row of black squat racks beside a turf lane and a brick wall

15,000 sq ft of training space

A strength floor with twelve racks and lifting platforms, a turf lane for sleds, a cycling studio and a quiet room for yoga and mobility.

Gym members trading high fives after a workout

A crew, not a crowd

Monthly challenges, Saturday socials and a members’ chat where someone always knows a good physio. Most friendships here started between sets.

Meet the people who coach you

Four head coaches, one standard: every rep, every member, every day.
